The Norwegian Church Arts Centre is one of the landmark buildings situated in Cardiff Bay and has panoramic views over the waterfront. Formerly a Church for Norwegian Sailors, the iconic building dates back to the industrial revolution, when Cardiff Docks was the world's greatest exporter of coal.

Your big day

The Norwegian Church makes an ideal location for wedding blessings and receptions, overlooking the waterfront in the heart of Cardiff Bay. We can cater for up to 80 guests in a formal banquet style and 100 evening guests in a less formal "cabaret" style. There's even facilities for a live band or more traditional DJ. The choice is yours!

Unwind Whether you’re meeting friends, going for a walk around Cardiff Bay or taking in one of the many local events, we’re perfectly placed for you to take a well earned break. Our café has a great selection of home made cakes, sandwiches and snacks to satisfy your hunger and our teas and coffees won't disappoint!

What's on

The Norwegian Church (Registered Charity 519831) offers regular music concerts, theatre and a range of events, enjoyed by the Cardiff community and visitors. You can contact us by phone or email to pre-book tickets for an event (unless otherwise stated).

Opening Times

The Norwegian Church is open daily and admission is completely free.

Monday to Sunday - 10:30am–4pm.
