The Norwegian Church Arts Centre is one of the city’s landmark buildings and a registered charity, situated in Cardiff Bay and has panoramic views over the waterfront. Formerly a Church for Norwegian Sailors, the iconic building dates back to the industrial revolution, when Cardiff Docks were the world’s greatest exporter of coal.
Built in 1868, the venue provided a base for Norwegian seafarers. Discover more about our rich history as well as Cardiff’s old ports.
We regularly host exhibitions and art events in our unique and light space. Take a look at our What’s On page for the latest upcoming events.
The venue is FREE to visit and open to the public Wednesday to Sunday. Start planning your visit to one of Cardiff’s top rated attractions today.
