Welcome to the Norwegian Church Arts Centre
The iconic Norwegian Church Arts Centre is one of the capital city’s landmark buildings, situated in the heart of Cardiff Bay – with glorious, panoramic views over the waterfront. Formerly a Church for Norwegian Sailors, the unique building dates back to the industrial revolution, when Cardiff’s Docks were the greatest exporter of coal globally.
Built in 1868, the venue provided a base for Norwegian seafarers. Discover more about our rich history as well as Cardiff’s old ports.

Our breakfast menu is served between 10:30am and midday, after which our lunch menu takes over. We also have many delicious fresh pastries & cakes and a wide selection of drinks available to tempt you all day. The kitchen closes at 5:30pm.
